Our mission is to deliver oral health care that meets our patients’ needs and exceeds their expectations.
The Initial Appointment
At your first appointment, Dr. Sherman will examine all areas of your mouth including the teeth, soft tissues and supporting structures. Then you will see our hygienist who will get the pertinent information about your dental and medical history, take any x-rays that may be needed, and discuss your home dental care.
Following your initial appointment, and based on our evaluation of the current state of your oral health, we will discuss with you any immediate treatment necessary, as well as long-term oral health plans. At this point we will discuss options, costs, and answer any questions you may have.
Future Visits
We strongly believe that prevention is the key to maintaining good oral health. We will make recall appointments for you at your regular check-ups to ensure that the good oral health plan that has been developed for you is maintained in a timely manner.
If appointments need to be canceled, we ask that you do so 24 hours prior if possible as a courtesy to our other patients.
If you have a dental emergency, please contact our office immediately and we will make every effort to provided treatments promptly.
Location
Edgewood Dentistry is located in the Edgewood Plaza Building on the west side of South 76th street (look for the Associated Bank sign). There is ample free parking available.
